My car will soon be out of the body shop, and I should finally be getting everything with it all nice and buttoned up so I can finally begin driving it daily and taking it to local track events..all that junk. Anyways, since it is a front and rear 'widebody' now, I know that I have obviously caused some minor over or understeer issues with it and would like to be able to atleast try to partly remedy them before I hit up my fist track event or really even before I drive it on the street. I talked to a well known member here yesturday who is an avid road course attendee and asked him wether or not I would have oversteer or understeer. (My rear wheels are about 2 inches farther out on either side than stock, and my fronts are about 1 inch farther out on either side than stock). Anyways, he told me that this should cause oversteer(which is the more "dangerous" one). He sent me an AEWESOME web site that contains tons of ways to cure both oversteer and understeer as long as you have adjustable suspension. I have all adjustable arms, coilovers, and sways, so he said I should have no problem dialing it in correctly. Obviously, I was like "awesome and thanks." Then later that night, I was talking to another fairly avid road course attendee and he said that I will not have oversteer, but understeer instead. At this point, I was like damn it lol, since I don't know which one it is that I have. Anyways, is there anyone out there that knows for sure what problem I shoud be having...over or understeer? If it helps you out, my rear tires are currently only 295s and the fronts are 245s, the rear wheels are out about 1 inch farther out than the fronts are on either side of the car. After these tires burn up, I am also widening to the 355s and the 265s in my garage....don't know if this will make a difference again, but if it will, please let me know. Anyways, sorry if I sould clueless, but it's b/c I really am, and I appreciate anyone's help. Thanks.
